A sax, percussion and piano trio that defies easy categorization. From the early sessions when Marco first brought the group together, it was clear this combination had something special. Jazz warmth, contemporary classical richness, electronic rhythms, and folkloric influences, Marcus Henry V don’t pick a lane, and that’s exactly the point.
I was involved from early on, and mixed the finished album.
On The Move was released on vinyl on 13 March 2026 at a packed show at Splendor Amsterdam and it was amazing. Go see them live whenever you get the chance.
