This is a deeply atmospheric and thoughtful record by Dutch pianist, composer and producer Daniël Tomàs, whose work moves between neo-classical composition, improvisation and electronic sound worlds. As the first chapter of his Ecopathy trilogy, the album reflects on ecological loss, memory and the way modern noise can distance us from nature.
It was a great project to work on together, protecting that emotional core while so many sounds and sources were used. Shaping a sound world where piano, texture and space could breathe naturally, and where the music’s quiet intensity could fully come through.
